Using this website
MoveMyWebsites provides information and tools to help businesses explore website migration and modernization. Submitting a form requests a conversation; it does not purchase a service, reserve a launch date or create an obligation to proceed.
Assessments
The website assessment is informational and preliminary. It does not guarantee platform detection, page counts, security status or migration outcomes. Only submit websites you own or are authorised to review.
Estimates and proposals
Complexity estimates are indicative. Pricing and timelines are confirmed in a written proposal after project review.
Any configured calculator price is an initial estimate based on the information supplied, not a binding quote. Content volume, custom functionality, integrations, third-party licensing and access to existing systems can affect the final scope. A separately agreed project proposal governs the specific deliverables, fees, payment schedule, revisions and support.
What a migration includes
A migration can involve rebuilding page layouts, transferring approved content and media, mapping URLs, reconnecting tools, and preparing hosting. Inclusion depends on the agreed scope. A platform change does not automatically recreate every plugin, proprietary feature, historical record or third-party service.
We review important functions before recommending an approach. Features may need an alternative integration, custom work, a separate license, or a change to the way your team works. These decisions should be confirmed before implementation.
Your content and authorization
You should have authority to request changes to the website and permission to use the content, images, fonts and other assets supplied for the project. Do not submit confidential credentials through public forms. Arrangements for access to hosting, domains, source files and other systems are agreed separately.
Review, approvals and launch
Project timing depends on the agreed scope, access, content readiness and feedback. A request for an urgent move is not a guaranteed completion date. Review the proposed site and its important workflows before approving a launch. Domain, DNS, email and hosting changes should be coordinated with the people responsible for those systems.
Backup, rollback and post-launch checks should be specified in the project plan. Do not close existing hosting accounts or remove source material until the agreed handover requirements have been met.
Search visibility
We follow careful practices to preserve search visibility, but no one can guarantee rankings after any website change.
Security
Security and ongoing maintenance responsibilities are discussed as part of your project scope.
Moving away from PHP can remove a particular runtime dependency, but it does not eliminate all risk. Account access, hosting, application dependencies, external services and ongoing maintenance remain important. Nothing on this website guarantees an attack-proof site, regulatory compliance or a particular security outcome.
Third-party services and ongoing costs
Domains, hosting, email, payment processing, booking systems, analytics and other integrations may require separate accounts and fees. Availability, licensing, provider limits and changes to those services are outside the migration itself. Ongoing maintenance and support are included only when expressly agreed.
Appropriate use of the analyzer
Do not use the assessment tool to probe internal systems, bypass access controls, submit malicious content or overwhelm services. The analyzer may reject a request, limit usage or report that a site cannot be reached. A failed or incomplete assessment is not proof of a problem with that website.
Content
Third-party publications referenced on this site are summarised in our own words and linked to their original sources. They do not endorse our services.
Privacy and questions
The Privacy Policy describes how inquiry data, assessment results and optional analytics are handled. If you have a question about a proposed migration, use the inquiry form or reply to the person handling your request before agreeing to project terms.
