Last updated October 2026. Plain language about what we collect and why.

What we collect

When you request an assessment or proposal we collect the details you submit: name, email, optional phone and company, your website address and your answers. When you run the analyzer we store the public URL and the results of a read-only review of publicly available signals.

Your answers may include your current platform, page count, features you want to preserve, business goals, integrations, budget, timeline and additional notes. A repeat inquiry may be associated with earlier requests for the same email address and website so we can understand the history of your requirements.

Information to leave out of forms

Do not submit passwords, API keys, payment details, patient records or other sensitive customer information. Initial inquiries are for project scoping. If a project requires access to existing systems, the access and handover method should be agreed separately.

Analytics and attribution

Analytics cookies, campaign attribution (UTM parameters) and event tracking are only used if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you decline, we do not store attribution data with your inquiry.

How we use it

To respond to your request, prepare proposals and, only if you opted in, send occasional migration and security guidance. We do not sell personal data.

Submitted inquiries are saved in our admin portal for review. Authorized administrators can add internal notes, assign an owner and track the status of a request. Automatic confirmation and notification emails are not currently enabled. Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to optional marketing messages.

Storage on your device

The migration questionnaire saves a draft in your browser’s local storage so your answers can survive a page refresh. The draft can include contact details you have entered, even before submission. A successful submission removes that draft. Assessment results may also be kept for the current browser session to prefill the questionnaire.

Use a private device for inquiries containing confidential business information. You can remove local drafts by clearing this website’s browser data. Clearing browser storage does not delete information you already submitted to us.

Service providers and restricted access

The website uses hosting and database services to operate, Clerk for administrator authentication, and Resend for configured email delivery. These providers process information needed for their respective functions. If optional analytics services are configured, they load only after analytics consent. Third-party providers have their own privacy terms.

Lead-management endpoints require authorized administrator access. Technical request information may be processed for operational logging, rate limiting and abuse prevention. No online service can promise absolute security.

Retention and your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time by replying to any message from us.

If you have not received a message, use the website inquiry form and explain your privacy request in the notes. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information before changing or disclosing records. Applicable legal obligations may affect what we can provide or delete.

Submission does not trigger automatic deletion on a fixed schedule. Contact us to discuss the information associated with your request. Deleting your browser’s local data is separate from requesting deletion of server-side records.

Changing your choices

Use “Cookie preferences” or “Opt out of analytics” in the footer to change your analytics choice. Declining analytics does not prevent you from requesting a migration review. Changing this choice prevents future optional tracking; it does not automatically remove earlier submitted inquiries.

Links to other websites

Resource articles and security coverage link to external publications and vendors. Their sites operate independently and may use different cookies and data practices. A link does not mean that a source endorses MoveMyWebsites.

Website assessments

Assessments are preliminary, read-only reviews of public information. They are not penetration tests, vulnerability scans or security certifications. Private and internal network addresses are refused.
